BAJHANG: A helicopter has been deployed to a remote area of Bajhang to assist with rescue operations following a fatal jeep crash that killed three people on the spot and left five others injured.

The tragedy occurred in the Sungare area of Kedarsyu Rural Municipality-7 when the vehicle veered uncontrollably off the road and plunged approximately 300 meters down a steep cliff.

As the accident site is located in highly difficult and geographically isolated terrain, authorities rushed air support to the scene to facilitate emergency response and transport the wounded.

The identities of the deceased have not yet been established, and further details regarding the victims and survivors remain unconfirmed.

Local police have already launched a formal investigation to determine the exact cause of the crash.
