KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress’ Central Policy, Research, and Training Academy has selected coordinators for six of its subcommittees.
Bishwa Prakash Sharma, the Academy’s coordinator and the party’s Vice President, formed the six subcommittees today and assigned coordinator responsibilities to make the organization more effective.
He stated that Prakash Pantha has been given the responsibility of coordinator for the Disability Dialogue, Coordination, and Empowerment Subcommittee, while Resham Gurung has been appointed for the Indigenous Nationalities Dialogue, Coordination, and Empowerment Subcommittee.
Similarly, DB Sunar has been assigned to the Awareness and Coordination Subcommittee for a Drug-Free Society, and Bigyan Prasain has been given the leadership of the Former Immigrant Coordination and Motivation Campaign Subcommittee.
Furthermore, Mohan Gajurel has been appointed as the coordinator for the Meaningful Communication Subcommittee, and Sitaram Kafle for the Agriculture and Agricultural Enterprise Subcommittee.
According to Krishna Prasad Dulal, the Acting Chief Secretary of the Nepali Congress Central Office, they were designated as subcommittee coordinators based on decisions made during a meeting chaired by Vice President Sharma on July 9 and 10.
Along with nominating the subcommittee coordinators, the meeting also made significant decisions regarding the Academy’s future course of action and various other matters.
