KATHMANDU: The Meteorological Forecasting Division has reported that the active monsoon system is currently impacting the entire country, with the low-pressure monsoon trough positioned close to the Terai region.

Consequently, skies remain mostly cloudy nationwide, bringing light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder across various hill and plains sectors.

Throughout the day and into the night, heavy rainfall is highly likely in specific areas of the Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces, alongside a few spots in the Madhesh and Sudurpashchim regions, prompting necessary weather vigilance.
