KATHMANDU: Two people died after their scooter collided with a mini truck traveling in the same direction along the Tinthana road section in Chandragiri Municipality–15 early Monday morning.

The victims, identified as 40-year-old Deepak Nepal and 56-year-old Subhadra Kumari Nepal, succumbed to their injuries while undergoing treatment at B&B Hospital in Lalitpur.

Police have detained the truck driver and impounded both vehicles for further investigation.
