KATHMANDU: Home Minister Sudhan Gurung inspected the northern border in Rasuwa on Monday, directing officials to strengthen border security, expedite the construction of the long-delayed Rasuwagadhi Integrated Check Post, and improve service delivery.
During the visit, Gurung also observed the search operation for the driver of an electric vehicle swept away by the Bhote Koshi and inspected the Rasuwa Customs Office.
After returning to Kathmandu, the minister held discussions with the inspectors general of the Nepal Police and the Armed Police Force over the Sunsari incident.
