The Chamber of Industry has started undertaking the Industrial Survey-2078 of Sunsari-Morang Industrial Corridor and Morang district.

In order to develop a database of all industrial establishments, the survey work has started on Sunday. Industry Chairperson Suyash Pyakurel shared that the Chamber has a plan to regularly keep the data up-to-date once they are collected and posted in a database.

Director-General of the Chamber, Chudamani Bhattarai informed that they have developed a plan to collect data of all member industries of the Chamber of Sunsari and Morang first and other remaining industries in a gradual manner.

According to him, five enumerators would reach all industrial establishments with a set of 100 questions to collect information covering different dimensions of the industry.

The Chamber had also imparted a two-day training for the enumerators taking into consideration the data quality.
