KATHMANDU: Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle announced that the government has launched a five-year plan through the new budget to eliminate forced youth migration by creating viable opportunities at home.
Speaking at the National Youth Entrepreneurship Conference 2026 on Sunday, Wagle highlighted new youth-centric programs, including a total tax exemption for individuals earning up to Rs 100,000.
He urged entrepreneurs to leverage the budget’s concessional relief packages and tax dispute waivers.
He added that lower tax rates, administrative digitization and governance reforms collectively signal a progressive shift toward nation-building.
