KATHMANDU: Gold prices in the Nepali market saw a modest increase on Friday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold rose by Rs 600 per tola (11.66 grams) compared to the previous day.

The association reported that the price of standard hallmark gold on Friday was Rs 238,400 per tola, up from Rs 237,800 per tola on Thursday.

Silver prices also increased, with the rate rising from Rs 3,010 per tola on Thursday to Rs 3,020 per tola on Friday.
