KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has announced the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar has been set at Rs. 141.62 and the selling rate at Rs. 142.22.

Similarly, the buying rate for one Euro is Rs. 164.39 and the selling rate is Rs. 165.08; for one UK Pound Sterling, the buying rate is Rs. 186.73 and the selling rate is Rs. 187.52; and for one Swiss Franc, the buying rate is Rs. 177.00 and the selling rate is Rs. 177.75.

The Australian Dollar is valued at a buying rate of Rs. 92.93 and a selling rate of Rs. 93.32, while the Canadian Dollar stands at Rs. 101.37 for buying and Rs. 101.80 for selling. The Singapore Dollar has a buying rate of Rs. 108.97 and a selling rate of Rs. 109.43.

For Japanese Yen (per 10 units), the buying rate is Rs. 9.20 and the selling rate is Rs. 9.24. The Chinese Yuan has a buying rate of Rs. 19.91 and a selling rate of Rs. 20.00. The Saudi Arabian Riyal is set at Rs. 37.76 (buying) and Rs. 37.92 (selling), while the Qatari Riyal stands at Rs. 38.85 (buying) and Rs. 39.02 (selling).

According to the central bank, the Thai Baht has a buying rate of Rs. 4.37 and a selling rate of Rs. 4.38. The UAE Dirham is Rs. 38.56 for buying and Rs. 38.72 for selling; the Malaysian Ringgit is Rs. 33.72 (buying) and Rs. 33.86 (selling); the South Korean Won (per 100 units) is Rs. 9.90 (buying) and Rs. 9.94 (selling); the Swedish Kroner is Rs. 15.03 (buying) and Rs. 15.10 (selling); and the Danish Kroner is Rs. 22.01 (buying) and Rs. 22.11 (selling).

The Hong Kong Dollar has a buying rate of Rs. 18.23 and a selling rate of Rs. 18.31. The Kuwaiti Dinar is set at Rs. 462.06 (buying) and Rs. 464.01 (selling), the Bahraini Dinar at Rs. 375.67 (buying) and Rs. 377.27 (selling), and the Omani Riyal at Rs. 367.82 (buying) and Rs. 369.38 (selling).

The exchange rate for Indian Rupees (per 100 units) has been fixed at Rs. 160.00 for buying and Rs. 160.15 for selling.

Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these rates may be revised at any time as necessary. The exchange rates set by commercial banks may vary, and the updated rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
