KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has set the foreign exchange rates for today, with the buying rate of one US dollar fixed at Rs 150.50 and the selling rate at Rs 151.10. The Euro is valued at Rs 176.37 for buying and Rs 177.07 for selling, while the UK Pound Sterling stands at Rs 203.66 (buying) and Rs 204.48 (selling).
Similarly, the Swiss Franc is set at Rs 191.68 for buying and Rs 192.45 for selling. Among other major currencies, the Australian Dollar is priced at Rs 107.65 (buying) and Rs 108.08 (selling), the Canadian Dollar at Rs 110.11 and Rs 110.55, and the Singapore Dollar at Rs 117.94 and Rs 118.41 respectively.
In Asian currencies, 10 Japanese Yen equals Rs 9.44 (buying) and Rs 9.48 (selling), the Chinese Yuan is Rs 22.01 and Rs 22.10, the Saudi Riyal is Rs 40.12 and Rs 40.28, and the Qatari Riyal is Rs 41.28 and Rs 41.45.
The Thai Baht stands at Rs 4.65 (buying) and Rs 4.67 (selling), the UAE Dirham at Rs 40.97 and Rs 41.14, the Malaysian Ringgit at Rs 37.96 and Rs 38.11, and 100 South Korean Won at Rs 10.19 and Rs 10.23. Likewise, the Swedish Krona is Rs 16.35 (buying) and Rs 16.41 (selling), and the Danish Krone is Rs 23.61 and Rs 23.70.
Other currencies include the Hong Kong Dollar at Rs 19.21 (buying) and Rs 19.28 (selling), the Kuwaiti Dinar at Rs 490.87 and Rs 492.82, the Bahraini Dinar at Rs 398.60 and Rs 400.19, and the Omani Riyal at Rs 390.90 and Rs 392.46. The Indian Rupee (100 units) is set at Rs 160.00 for buying and Rs 160.15 for selling.
