KATHMANDU: Gold prices in Nepal climbed on Monday, the second trading day of the week, with hallmark gold rising by Rs 5,000 per tola from the previous session, according to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Federation.
Hallmark gold was traded at Rs 298,200 per tola, up from Rs 293,200 per tola on Sunday.
Silver prices also increased, gaining Rs 120 per tola to reach Rs 5,015 per tola.
The federation said the price of hallmark gold stood at Rs 255,660 per 10 grams, while silver was priced at Rs 4,299.50 per 10 grams.
Precious metal prices in Nepal generally track movements in international bullion markets and domestic demand trends.
