KATHMANDU:Traffic police in Kathmandu took action against 2,025 vehicles for various traffic violations in the last 24 hours, generating more than Rs 1.04 million in fines.
According to police, the most common offences included drunk driving, speeding, traffic signal violations, illegal ride-sharing, improper parking, unnecessary honking, lane discipline breaches, and one-way violations.
Officials said traffic monitoring and enforcement campaigns will continue to improve road safety and ensure compliance with traffic regulations across the Valley.
