BANKE: Police in Banke have arrested 40-year-old Indian national Mohammad Rizwan after recovering 63.53 grams of brown sugar hidden in his underwear during a targeted anti-drug operation.

Acting on intelligence reports, a joint team from the Narcotics Control Bureau, Nepalgunj, and District Police Office, Banke, intercepted Rizwan while he was traveling on a motorcycle in Nepalgunj-17. A search led to the seizure of the narcotics, and both the suspect and the motorcycle were taken into custody.

Police have launched further investigations into the case.
