KASKI: In the tourist village of Sikles in Kaski, the arrival of tourists has decreased in March in comparison to the previous month. Only 1,296 tourists visited Sikles in March. 

Due to unfavorable weather in March, the tourist information office stated that fewer tourists visited Sikles than in the previous month.

A settlement surrounded by jungle, paths paved with stones, and Sikles village placed at various spots is famous for its natural beauty as well as Gurung culture, tradition, and history. It is known as the birth place of Nepal’s peace process.

Located at an altitude of 1,950 meter above sea level, the Sikles to Gurung  Heritage trail includes Kafuche, Kori, Kholasonthar, and Dudhpokhari trekking routes.
