KATHMANDU: A parked car caught fire at Chandanichowk in Kirtipur, resulting in the death of its driver.

The driver’s body was recovered burnt inside the vehicle, still strapped into the seatbelt.

The incident occurred on Tuesday morning involving a vehicle with the registration number Ba 5 Cha 3038.

The cause of the fire and the identity of the deceased have not yet been determined.
