KATHMANDU: Residents of Susta have arrived in Kathmandu demanding land ownership certificates and Nepali citizenship.

They have come to Kathmandu to demand these documents, stating that they have been facing hassles and harassment from Indian security personnel following the Prime Minister’s recent remarks regarding the border.

They have announced that they will begin a peaceful sit-in protest at Maitighar Mandala in Kathmandu starting today.

A short while ago, Prime Minister Balendra Shah remarked in Parliament that not only has India encroached on land, but Nepal has also encroached on Indian territory.
