MORANG: Police arrested a teacher and two school staff members from Sukuna Secondary School in Sundarharaicha Municipality-10 on Monday following allegations of inappropriate behavior toward female students.

The arrestees have been identified as teacher Abiral Maskey (35), music instructor Kishor Lal Gachhadar (30) and bus driver Pradeep Bhattarai (40).

Morang Police spokesperson DSP Makendra Kumar Mishra stated that the investigation was initiated after several female students shared their experiences on social media, prompting formal complaints.

Following directives from the Sundarharaicha Municipality, the school management committee has suspended all three accused individuals pending further investigation.

Local child welfare networks and student organizations have demanded a transparent probe, victim protection and strict legal action against the perpetrators.
