KATHMANDU: Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Zhang Maoming held a high-level interaction with the faculty, staff, and cadets at the Army Command and Staff College of Nepal, focusing on regional cooperation and global strategic dynamics.

During his visit to the premier military institution—often described as the “cradle of Nepal Army generals”—Ambassador Zhang exchanged views on a wide spectrum of bilateral and international issues.

The discussions primarily centered on bolstering Nepal-China relations, expanding practical bilateral cooperation, and addressing contemporary global security and governance challenges.

Expressing his optimism following the engagement, Ambassador Zhang emphasized the importance of sustained, high-level diplomatic and institutional exchanges.

He noted that with a shared commitment and joint efforts from both sides, the strategic partnership between Nepal and China is poised to flourish and reach new heights.
