KATHMANDU: Chinese Ambassador Zhang Maoming paid a courtesy call on Shishir Khanal at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today (Tuesday), where both sides discussed ways to strengthen Nepal–China relations and expand mutually beneficial cooperation.

During the meeting, Ambassador Zhang conveyed greetings from Foreign Minister of the People’s Republic of China Wang Yi to Minister Khanal on his assumption of office.

Officials said the discussion focused on enhancing bilateral ties and exploring avenues for deeper collaboration between Nepal and China across key areas of mutual interest.
