KATHMANDU: Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal departed for New Delhi, India, today (Friday) at the invitation of Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar.
Speaking before his departure, Khanal said the visit marks the first high-level bilateral engagement since the formation of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP)-led government. He stated that discussions during the visit will focus on Nepal’s key national priorities and bilateral cooperation.
The visit comes amid ongoing diplomatic engagements between Nepal and India, with both sides expected to discuss issues of mutual interest and avenues for strengthening bilateral relations.
