KATHMANDU: In a significant diplomatic engagement on the regional stage, a Nepali delegation led by Rabi Lamichhane, Chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), held bilateral talks with Indian Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi today.

During the meeting, Indian Home Minister Shah extended warm congratulations to Lamichhane on the RSP’s recent electoral success and conveyed India’s best wishes for the progress and success of Nepal’s new government.

Both sides expressed a firm, mutual resolve to work closely together to further enhance and strengthen the deeply rooted, special ties between the two neighboring nations.

The dialogue marks an important step for Nepal’s evolving political leadership as it seeks to navigate neighborhood diplomacy and foster shared regional prosperity.
