KATHMANDU: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairman Rabi Lamichhane met Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Hyderabad House in New Delhi on Wednesday, during his official visit to India.
The meeting was later made public through Prime Minister Modi’s social media post, where he said he was “extremely delighted” to meet Lamichhane and welcomed his aspiration to work together for a shared and prosperous future, adding that he fully agreed with the idea.
Modi reiterated that under India’s Neighbourhood First policy, Nepal remains a priority partner, and expressed India’s readiness to collaborate with Nepal’s new government to elevate the “unique and multifaceted” bilateral relationship to new heights.
