RSP Chair Lamichhane meets Indian External Affairs Minister Jaishankar

NEW DELHI: Rabi Lamichhane, chair of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), held talks with S. Jaishankar in New Delhi on Tuesday, focusing on bilateral cooperation and people-to-people ties between Nepal and India.

According to information shared following the meeting, discussions centered on the Nepal-India development partnership and the role of close people-to-people relations in advancing mutual development and prosperity.

Jaishankar said he was pleased to meet Lamichhane and his delegation, noting the interaction through a social media post after the meeting.

Lamichhane arrived in New Delhi on Monday for a five-day visit at the invitation of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

The delegation accompanying the RSP chair includes his wife Nikita Poudel, RSP Joint General Secretary and House of Representatives member Bipin Kumar Acharya, RSP Secretariat Member and House member Dipak Bohara, and Personal Secretary Pradip Acharya.
