KATHMANDU: The highly anticipated Nepali film Janai Harayeko Bahun has unveiled its first dialogue video, capturing the emotional struggles of rural youth. One of the heartfelt lines from the film says:

“Friend, you are leaving the village too? It seems dreams cannot be fulfilled without leaving home.”

Directed by Himal Nyaupane, this film delves deeply into the harsh realities of migration, where young people chase their dreams, leaving behind aging parents in the villages.

The plot unfolds an emotional tale of love, sacrifice, and the traumatic moments of being torn apart from loved ones.

The theme song features the voices of Vijay Baral and associate director-actor Manish Raut.

In an exciting twist, the director has announced that anyone who sings the film’s theme song on TikTok has a chance to be featured as a singer in the movie!

The song’s music is composed by Arjun Pokharel, promising a soulful soundtrack.

Presented by Paperclip Pvt. Ltd., the film is written by Bhanubhakta Dhakal, who has crafted a fast-paced screenplay that portrays the twists a rural person might face in the city—and how profoundly it can alter their life.

The film aims to touch hearts, with an ensemble production team led by C.R. Basnet, Kamal Nyaupane, R.K. Manandhar, Bimal Nyaupane, Philip DC, and Nishant Shrestha. Photography will be headed by Navin Gurung, and the rest of the cast and technical team will be announced later.
