TAULIHAWA: A bus traveling from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj met with an accident at Umarichowk in Shivaraj Municipality-1 along the East–West Highway on Wednesday.

According to District Police Office, Kapilvastu, the bus with registration number Ba 1 Kha 9700 overturned after losing control.

Out of the 35 passengers on board, 10 sustained injuries and are currently undergoing treatment at Sanjivani Hospital in Chandrauta.

Police said the bus veered off and overturned on the left side of the road.

Further details of the accident are yet to be made public.
