NAWALPUR: Thirteen passengers were injured when a bus collided with a truck in Jyamire, Ward No. 2 of Binayi Tribeni Rural Municipality in Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta East).

According to police, a bus (Ba 3-001 Kha 1910) traveling from Nepalgunj to Kathmandu crashed on Wednesday morning after colliding with another bus moving in the same direction (Pr 1-01-001 Kha 3759) and a truck coming from the opposite direction (Ba 3-001 Kha 1049).

The impact caused the bus to overturn on the road.

Police said all 13 injured passengers sustained only minor injuries.

They were rescued and sent for treatment to Binayi Tribeni Basic Hospital, Dumkibas.

Authorities confirmed that traffic movement on the highway was not disrupted following the incident.
