BHAKTAPUR: Property worth around five million rupees was destroyed when fire broke out at Khwopring English Secondary School at Liwali, Bhaktapur Municipality.
Two floors of the school were completely destroyed as well as five classrooms turned into ashes due to fire, said School Principal Binod Prajapati.
The incident might have occurred due to a short circuit. Activities are underway to remove the damaged property not to let obstruct the teaching learning activities for many days, according to school administration.
Collection of details of the losses caused by the fire is underway, mentioned the Police Circle, Jagati.
