CHITWAN: A severe landslide hit the Tuin Khola section of the Narayangadh–Muglin highway Tuesday at 3:20 PM, completely blocking both sides of the road.

Authorities warned of ongoing risk and urged vehicles to use alternative routes.

The area has been affected by continuous dry landslides since Friday evening.

Earlier Tuesday, a separate landslide at Jawangkhol in Dhading was cleared after nearly 10 hours, reopening the road for traffic.
