KATHMANDU: Vehicular movement has resumed along the Kanti Lokpath after a landslide that occurred Sunday morning at Bharegdanda in Bhimphedi Rural Municipality–8 was cleared.
According to the District Police Office, two-way traffic operation was restored from Sunday afternoon.
Office spokesperson and DSP Pushkar Bogati said that all types of vehicles are currently operating regularly on major routes in Makwanpur, including the Tribhuvan Highway, Mahendra Highway, and the road connecting Kathmandu via Bhimphedi–Kulekhani.
Police also confirmed that transportation services are running smoothly from Hetauda to Birgunj, Narayanghat in Chitwan, and from Bhimphedi to Hetauda.
