BHAIRAHAWA: Commuters traveling along the Butwal–Narayangadh road section are finally experiencing smoother traffic flows after enduring years of severe congestion, heavy dust, and chaotic road conditions due to ongoing construction.

According to the road expansion project, the majority of the concrete paving and upgrading works have successfully been completed, bringing immense relief to passengers.

With the road’s primary sections now paved and stabilized for regular vehicular flow, travel times have significantly shortened.

Passengers report that the journey between Butwal and Narayangadh is now relatively fast and comfortable, a stark contrast to the grueling hours previously spent trapped in traffic jams.

The project management team confirmed that blacktopping and concrete works are already finished across most areas, with the remaining tasks fast-tracked into their final stages.

This accelerated pace has helped streamline the high volume of traffic, resulting in a visible improvement in daily vehicular movement.

Since the expansion began back in 2018, delays had subjected travelers and local businesses to long-term hardships.

However, as the multi-year project inches toward total completion, commuters, local business owners, and transport operators alike are expressing profound relief, anticipating a much safer, efficient, and time-saving corridor once the entire segment is fully delivered.
