KATHMANDU: The Tribhuvan University (TU) Service Commission has achieved full structural shape following the official swearing-in and assumption of office by its newly appointed leadership today.
Minister for Education and Sports Sasmit Pokharel administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly appointed Chairman of the Commission, Kishore Thapa. Following his own swearing-in, Chairman Thapa administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly appointed Member of the Commission, Prof. Dr. Rejina Maskey.
Immediately after the swearing-in ceremonies, both Chairman Thapa and Professor Dr. Maskey arrived at the TU Service Commission to officially assume their respective offices.
Upon taking charge, the duo was accorded a warm welcome by the administrative staff of the TU Service Commission and officials representing the TU Central Office. The appointment of the new leadership resolves a vacancy crunch at the university’s vital recruitment and promotion arm, paving the way for the resumption of pending administrative and academic hiring processes.
