KATHMANDU: The leader of the Nepali Congress Parliamentary Party, Bhishma Raj Angdembe, has extended his heartfelt best wishes to all Nepali sisters and mothers on the occasion of the 8th National Women’s Rights Day.

Issuing a message of best wishes today, Leader Angdembe highlighted that women’s capability, creativity, leadership, and contribution serve as the main pillars of nation-building.

He emphasized that an inclusive, just, and prosperous society can only be built through the meaningful participation and leadership of women across political, social, economic, educational, and cultural sectors.

Leader Angdembe further stated that the effective implementation of women’s rights guaranteed by the Constitution of Nepal, ensuring equal opportunities, and fostering women’s self-reliance and empowerment are the primary needs of the hour.

He pointed out that while these rights have been legally granted, further dedicated efforts are still required to translate them into practice effectively.
