Police in Jhapa district on Sunday morning arrested a youth on charge of having unnatural intercourse with a  nine-year-old minor boy from Lasunganj in Jhapa Rural Municipality-1.

The accused has been identified as Pankaj Yadav, a 20-year-old resident of Jhapa Rural Municipality.

Acting on a tip-off, security personnel deployed from the Kumorkhod-based Area Police Office nabbed him. 

Further investigation into the case is underway, informed the police.
