Police in Bara district arrested a youth from Rangpur Tole in Kalaiya Sub-Metropolitan City-7 on the charge of murdering two minors.

The accused has been identified as Furmullah Ansari, a 25-year-old resident of Kalaiya Sub-Metropolitan City in Bara district.

The deceased have been identified as Amaan Ansari (9) and Usman Ansari (7), son of Abdal Gafar Ansari, resident of Kalaiya Sub-Metropolis.

The minors’ bodies were found at the construction site of Madarsha Salafia Kanjlum in Ward 11 of the same sub-metropolis. The minors had been missing since May 17.

Security personnel from the Bara-based District Police Office (DPO) arrested the accused after learning about his involvement in the incident.

Further investigation into the case is underway, informed DPO-Bara.
