CHITWAN: Information and Communication Minister Dr. Bikram Timilsina has expressed that the general convention of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) will significantly strengthen and unify the party.

After casting his vote for the election of the party’s central committee in the first general convention today, he shared his optimism with the media, stating that the party is set to move forward in a more robust and responsible way post-convention.

“Since there are no factions or sub-factions within the RSP, we have no choice but to come together. It’s our duty to enhance the RSP by embracing the decisions made by the convention representatives,” he remarked. “I have no doubt that the party will progress as a stronger, more integrated, and responsible entity.”

Minister Timilsina emphasized the importance of the convention in the life of the political party, expressing his belief that it will lead to a more unified and powerful organization. “This is what democracy looks like in party life,” he said. He also assured that the leadership chosen during the convention will guide the RSP, the country’s largest political party, in line with the people’s expectations.
