KATHMANDU: The government has decided to form a task force to prepare a discussion paper on constitutional amendments.

Government Spokesperson and Minister for Education, Science and Technology, Sasmit Pokharel, said the decision was taken during a Cabinet meeting held on Monday.

According to Pokharel, the task force will be chaired by the Prime Minister’s Political Advisor, Asim Shah, and will include representatives from political parties represented in Parliament.

“The Cabinet has decided to form a task force under the leadership of the Prime Minister’s Political Advisor, comprising representatives from parliamentary political parties, to prepare a discussion paper on constitutional amendments,” Pokharel said.
