KATHMANDU: Journalist Jagdishor Panday has been appointed as the Press Advisor to Minister for Foreign Affairs Shisir Khanal.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, following the decision of the Cabinet meeting on April 14, 2026, Minister Khanal appointed Panday, a resident of Tadi Rural Municipality-4, Nuwakot, to the position of Press Advisor with a rank equivalent to Special Class (Secretary) of the Government of Nepal.

As per the notice issued by the Ministry, Panday’s appointment came into effect from July 17, 2026.

Panday has experience working in various national media outlets.
