KATHMANDU: Former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has congratulated the newly appointed Prime Minister Balendra (Balen) Shah.

Through social media, Oli, who is also the chairman of the CPN (UML), expressed hearty congratulations on the appointment of Shah, a senior leader of the Rastriya Swatantra Party, as the prime minister.

In his message, Oli gave best wishes for a successful tenure to the newly appointed Prime Minister Shah along with all the members of the Council of Ministers.

He said, “Hearty congratulations to the senior leader of the Rastriya Swatantra Party, Balendra Shah, on being appointed as the prime minister. I express best wishes for the success of the tenure of the newly appointed Right Honorable Prime Minister Shah and all the members of the Council of Ministers.
