KATHMANDU: Two bills were tabled in the House of Representatives today on behalf of Prime Minister Balendra Shah (Balen).

At Wednesday’s session of the House, Minister for Law Sobita Gautam introduced the proposed legislation on the Prime Minister’s behalf.

The bills presented included the House of Representatives Member Election (First Amendment) Bill, 2026, and the Electoral Roll (First Amendment) Bill, 2026.
