KATHMANDU: Opposition parties continued to obstruct today’s meeting of the House of Representatives, demanding an apology from Prime Minister Balendra Shah and the removal of his remarks on Nepal-India border issues from the parliamentary record.
As soon as the delayed session began, lawmakers from opposition parties stood up in protest, disrupting proceedings.
They have maintained their demand that Prime Minister Balen Shah’s controversial remarks be removed from the parliamentary record and that he issue a public apology.
