CHITWAN: Vote counting is ongoing in Chitwan Constituency No. 2. Rabi Lamichhane, candidate of the Rastriya Swatantra Party, has maintained his lead.

According to the latest results, Lamichhane, who is also the party chairperson, has received 10,822 votes. This result comes after the counting of 20,331 votes so far.

His closest competitor, Meena Kharel of the Nepali Congress (NC), has received 3,227 votes.

Similarly, Asmin Ghimire of CPN (UML) has secured 2,846 votes, while Pratap Gurung of the Nepali Communist Party has received 1,844 votes.
