KATHMANDU: General Secretary of the CPN (UML), Shankar Pokhrel, said that the UML will respect the election results as per the people’s mandate.

In a ‘virtual’ meeting held today with provincial and district leaders at the central office in Chyasal, Lalitpur, he noted that the general voters have not severed ties with the UML.

He emphasized that Chairman KP Sharma Oli was wrongly portrayed by promoting the slogan of ‘new versus old’ which created false image against leaders and party.
