KATHMANDU: Nepal Police has carried out a major reshuffle by transferring 46 Superintendents of Police (SPs) and 149 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) across the country.
Inspector General of Police Dan Bahadur Karki approved the transfer and deputation of SPs on Friday, leading to changes in several district police leadership positions.
Under the new postings, Anil Kumar Khadka has been assigned to Gorkha, Amarendra Bahadur Singh to Dhanusha, Thakur Prasad Pokharel to Surkhet, and Nabaraj Malla to Saptari.
Likewise, Narayan Ranjitkar has been posted to Dhankuta, Netramani Giri to Kanchanpur, Phanindra Prasain to Baglung, and Rameshwar Paudel to Chitwan, among other transfers.
Separately, the Human Resource Development Department at Nepal Police Headquarters announced the transfer of 149 DSPs on Friday.
