KATHMANDU: Activist Majid Ansari, who was undergoing treatment at the T.U. Teaching Hospital in Maharajgunj, has been discharged.

Ansari sustained injuries last Saturday during a police crackdown at the informal settlers’ holding center in Kirtipur.

Following his discharge, he was also released from police custody in the presence of representatives from the National Human Rights Commission.
