KATHMANDU: Actress Simran Khadka was seen walking through the streets of Kathmandu and Lalitpur carrying a traditional doko (a traditional, hand-woven conical basket made from bamboo) filled with grass on Saturday as part of a public promotion campaign for her upcoming film ‘Gauthali’.

Dressed as her on-screen character, Khadka interacted with the public, distributed promotional brochures, and invited people to watch the film ahead of its release on Friday, July 17. The campaign took place in the Basantapur and Patan areas, where she interacted with the public and talked about the movie.

Directed by Kapil Rijal, ‘Gauthali’ stars Arun Chhetri, Simran Khadka, Madan Krishna Shrestha, Prakash Ghimire, and others. The film is presented by Bhola Rijal Production and Suman Giri Production.
