KATHMANDU: The annual general meeting of the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has approved the financial reports of both editions of the Nepal Premier League (NPL).

The meeting, held in Biratnagar, also decided to organise CAN’s annual awards starting this year and approved the association’s annual programme, plans, and budget.

CAN further decided to provide Rs 200,000 annually to all 45 district cricket associations across the country using income generated from the NPL.

The annual awards will be held every December, featuring categories including best male player, best female player, youth player, lifetime achievement, and moment of the year.
