KATHMANDU: Nepal’s T20 cricket team captain, Dipendra Singh Airee, has signed a contract to play in the upcoming European T20 Premier League (ETPL).
He will be representing the Amsterdam Flames in the tournament.
With this signing, Dipendra becomes the second Nepali cricketer to join the ETPL, following leg-spinner Sandeep Lamichhane, who had already been secured by the league.
The Amsterdam Flames will be led by Australian T20 captain Mitchell Marsh.
Alongside Dipendra and Marsh, the star-studded squad also features world-renowned cricket icons like Steve Smith and Tim David.
The premier league is scheduled to kick off in late August.
