KATHMANDU: Nepal’s men’s cricket team has been placed in Group ‘A’ alongside hosts Japan and Afghanistan for the upcoming Asian Games.
Group ‘B’ features Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Oman, while India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Pakistan have directly qualified for the quarterfinals.
The top two teams from each group will advance to the knockout stage of the T20 tournament, giving Nepal a chance to face top nations like India or Pakistan in the quarterfinals.
