KATHMANDU: Nepal will take on Oman today in the sixth and final match of the tri-nation series under the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup League 2.
The match will be held at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground, starting at 9:30 AM.
The ongoing home series is considered crucial for Nepal’s journey toward qualification for the ODI World Cup.
Nepal have secured two wins and suffered one defeat so far in the series played on home soil.
They defeated the UAE twice but lost to Oman in their earlier encounter.
Nepal began the series with a 37-run victory over the UAE but faced a heavy 102-run defeat against Oman in their second match.
However, they bounced back strongly in the third game, clinching a thrilling 6-run win over the UAE.
Heading into today’s crucial fixture, Nepal are under pressure to secure a win against Oman.
The visitors, meanwhile, remain unbeaten against Nepal at the TU ground so far.
