KATHMANDU: Nepal has been eliminated from the SAFF Women’s Championship right at the semifinal stage.
Nepal’s journey was cut short in the final four after suffering a 2–1 defeat against defending champions Bangladesh in the match concluded on Wednesday at the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Goa, India.
With this victory, Bangladesh, who arrived in India aiming for a title hat-trick, has advanced to the finals.
